I was using World Class Beverages' Beer Finder a few moments ago and stumbled on to what appear to be Brugge Beer's new labels--
You really must give Ted, Charlie, and Company credit for bringing an attractive look to their premises and their products.
Now those are nice!
ReplyDeleteIf somehow that could be painted on the bottle instead of printed on a label, I'd put them up in the bottle collection!
My personal favorite labels are those of Barley Island in Noblesville. They are great drawings. We are also big fans of their Barfly IPA and found it to be our all time favorite IPA so far.
ReplyDeleteRodney, the labels are going to be screen printed on the bottles instead of using paper, so make some space on your shelf...
ReplyDeleteThat's great news!
ReplyDeleteHey Guys, I know this is not the place for this, but just wanted to make sure someone received the menu I shot out last night for the Craft Beer and Food Symposium. Please get back to me to let me know you got it or did not get it.

I like those labels. Can't wait to get my hands on some Brugge beer in bottles.. Been a long time coming.
ReplyDeleteNeal-
ReplyDeleteYes, we received the menu. Looks fantastic! We're eagerly awaiting the dinner.

Hi guys.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for the kind words about our new labels.
Let me tell you how much input I had on them.
I received an email from Ted with the labels in a zip file.
I replied, "Wow, these are great!"
Full credit should go to Ted's old friend, Josh Lingenfelter, who runs a design business in Los Angeles.
And, as Anonymous noted, the labels will be applied directly to the bottle, no paper and glue.
We're still looking at April - at the earliest - for the launch of our bottled product.
Hope all is well.

Those do look great, they remind me of Blue Cheer's 'Vincebus Eruptum' Record cover from the 60's.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else into obscure San Francisco proto metal? haha
