From Corrie at Goose the Market in Indianapolis:

Hitachino Nest Red Rice means perfect for summer means 幸せ日なたでバラ色 means happy rice rosy in the sun.

New to the Hoosier state is Tyranena, a brewery some experts refer to as "the Founders of Wisconsin." The Goose has stocked their Rocky's Revenge, an American brown ale aged in bourbon barrels.

Great Divide is bridging the divide with a new 12oz bottle size on their Colette, a saison farmhouse ale packed with citrus and yeast flavors that goes down smooth despite its strength.

Our Pater who aren't in Belgium has created a stand up Belgian pale ale in Witkap Pater Singel by Slaghmuylder. (Pater knows best: thou shalt leave the yeast in the bottle.)

From Eric at 21st Amendment in Broad Ripple:
Good Morning Indy,
21st Amendment is still working hard to bring you a good beer selection at your friendly neighborhood beer stop. We've come up with a few beers we feel will make your day a little brighter.

-Dark Horse Brewing's "Double Crooked Tree IPA" Hopheads, this one's for you. It's highly rated and worth all the praise.
-Sierra Nevada's "Fritz & Ken's Ale" This Imperial Stout kicks off their 30th anniversary celebration by bringing together two giants of craft beer. Fritz Maytag, founder of Anchor Brewing Co. and Godfather of the craft beer industry and Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., came together to brew a beer reminiscent of the dark ales that originally captured their imagination.
-Victory "Golden Monkey" Anyone who's a fan of the wonderful Brugge Tripel De Ripple should try this one. It's the same style, just slightly restrained.
-Upland "Ard Ri" This is an Imperial Irish Red. St. Patty's has come and gone but this beer is still fresh and delicious.
-Anchor "Steam" To celebrate the anniversary of prohibition being repealed, try a beer that is a uniquely American style that has ties back to pre-prohibtion days.

If you're interested in our free beer tastings, follow us on twitter to get the latest updates on what we're tasting. Follow my store in Broadripple: @21stBroadripple and David's store at 71st and N. Keystone: @21amendmentbeer.

See ya next week Beer Fans, (in the mean time...GO REDS!) (HBG does not endorse this part of the message)

Trip Opportunities

From Ron Smith:

Guided Beer Vacations to Belgium and Germany!

Now through the end of April (about the next 3 weeks) is the timeframe where I need to get firm commitments from people. You can read about my Belgium Trip here (http://www.beermba.com/belgium-beer-vacations.php) and my Germany Trip here (http://www.beermba.com/germany-beer-vacations.php). There is also some general information here (http://www.beermba.com/beer-vacations.php). These are great trips designed to maximize the enjoyment of beer lovers that want to see these parts of the world without all the stress, planning, etc. While being primarily beer-focused, we also break it up and visit many of the usual tourist sites as well. Thus, even non-beer lovers will really enjoy them, but the true beer lover will be in heaven on these trips.
