Deano's New Adventure
I was reminded today by a posting on Feed Me/Drink Me of something I've been meaning to make mention of on here. Deano, of Deano's, recently sold out his partnership of the wine shop on Mass Ave., and will now be taking on the challenge of Managing Partner at the new Barcelona Tapas that will be opening downtown on May 15. The good news from Deano is that all the beers on tap will be excellent, exampled by Delirium Tremens. I've never had DT on tap, but I promise I will be there early on to try it!

We should have a roundtable there at the earliest opportunity. Beer + tapas = heaven.
ReplyDeleteYou better believe it. We should schedule our 2nd May review there.
ReplyDeleteGoing to have to bump it back about two weeks. The restaurant doesn't open until May 15.
ReplyDeleteMay 15 is what we're hearing now as the earliest. And I had DT on tap, recently, I think at MacNiven's. Seems like they had it for a nano-second and it was gone!
ReplyDeleteI meant our second review in May, not May 2nd.
ReplyDeleteAh. Gotcha.
ReplyDeleteHope everyone had a great time at Barley Island last night. Anyone every wonder whether they stole their name from Goose Island? :)
Ah, I hope he does a better job there than at Deano's.. the food at Deano's was not good (to put it polite). So far, BARcelona Tapas has not impressed me.. had a very mediocre meal there with very overpriced mixed drinks..
