Daredevil Brewing Co:
In case you missed it we rolled out an announcement last Friday about our agreement to acquire a 2.0-acre site at 1101 Main Street in Speedway where we plan to build a new 10,000 square foot brewery with a tap room. We will provide more details for the ground breaking and timeline for construction as we have firm dates.
Just as exciting our limited release Rip Cord Double IPA makes it's return this week. We brew this beer a few times a year and it's always one we enjoy making and sharing. Look for it to start showing up across central and southern Indiana on draft.

We’ve had a lot going on at Flat 12 the last few days. The Shamrock Cycles Handmade Bike Gallery wasSaturday, the Nunmoere Black release party was Sunday and finally our annual Flat Tuesday party was yesterday. Special Beer Thirty Release:
When we say drink local we really mean it. This week’s beer thirty release is about as local in the making as it can get. One Sky is the beer name. And the sky in question is the sky that covers this great state of ours. Check out some of the ingredients and their origins here, and be sure to stop by the Taproom this Thursday, March 6th at 4pm for a pint or two of some very local brew.
Reel-to-Reel:
On March 13th from 7-9pm, we’re hosting a special installment of Reel-to-Reel here at Flat 12. Our guest for the evening, the IU Film Archives Library, is bringing up a selection of the best of their 48,000+ retro educational films on 16mm complete with projector to give it that old school feel. The topics range from grooming to dating, to drugs and alcohol, and as you can imagine, are comical by today’s standards. Come check out the madness at this month's Reel-to-Reel.

Upland will be pouring the beer this year. The silly run begins with a toast and 3 ounces of Upland Wheat . You then enjoy another Upland beer each kilometer (give or take a few meters). When you finish, you receive your medal and a pint-glass of Upland. Several varieties available.

Upland Brewing Company Sour + Wild + Funk Fest
Tickets for the third annual Upland Brewing Company Sour + Wild + Funk Fest will be on sale at www.uplandsourfest.eventbrite.com on March 10. This year's festival will take place Saturday, May 17th from 2pm-6pm at the historic Indianapolis City Market, preceded by a VIP Sour lecture and private tasting from 12:30-1:30pm, and with a Secret Barrel Society members-only party to follow in the building's catacombs from 7pm-9pm. For more information on our Secret Barrel Society, check out secretbarrelsociety.comVIP tickets can be purchased for $75, and will include VIP lecture, lanyard, commemorative T-shirt, swag bag and access to the VIP lounge including food and private bathrooms.
General Admission tickets are $45 and include light snacks, with the City Market's artisans open to sell heavier fare throughout the festival. General Admission attendees will also have the option to buy a T-shirt on the website during ticket purchase for an additional $15.
