Guinness Perfect Pint Certification with Girls' Pint Out
Guinness Perfect Pint Certification
The Brockway Public House (Carmel)
Wednesday, October 9th
6:30-9 pm

Guinness knows that Irish pubs are renowned for their lively atmosphere - "the craic" as we call it - where the fun and banter flow as freely as the beer from the taps. The craic continues October 9th when Guinness brewery representatives host the Girls' Pint Out "Perfect Pour" competition at The Brockway Public House.

The Brockway boasts the state's only Guinness-Certified "Pour Your Own Pint" draft table. A perfect pint and a perfect half & half is within your reach. Training will be direct from Guinness!

How would you and four of your friends like to win $750 for the nonprofit organization of your choice and have a great time while doing it?  If you think that sounds like something you’d be interested in or if you’ve had a good time at GermanFest in the past, wait until you see what we’ve added this year!  The Beer Games are coming to GermanFest, October 12th!
Be among the lucky few (participation is limited to 30 teams) who compete in several events including beer stein holding, grape stomping, beer stein relay race, and fingerhakeln.  (Yes, we didn’t know what it was either.  To find out, check out the events link on our webpagewww.athenaeumfoundation.org.)
Registration will not only enable you to compete, it will admit you to the rest of GermanFest, ANDyou’ll get a colorful event T-shirt, AND you’ll get plenty of free beer while you compete!  Who could ask for anything more?
Best of all, there are three ways to win prize money for the nonprofit of your choice while benefiting the Athenaeum at the same time.  (The money we raise will be used to offset our annual operating expenses and make some much overdue and needed repairs to this historic landmark.)

Not interested in competing in the Beer Games but looking for another way to SCORE FREE BEER?  No problem!  We still need Event Volunteers and judges for the Beer Games.  Any way you cut it, you’re sure to have a blast at the A’s GermanFest on October 12.

So, what do you need to do to register to compete or volunteer?  Go to the events section of our website and sign up right away (www.athenaeumfoundation.org).  You’ll be glad you did!

All proceeds from GermanFest go to support and maintain one of Indianapolis’ most distinguished and important architectural treasures, the Athenaeum.
