From the Brewers
From Skip at Fountain Square Brewing Co. in Fountain Square, Indianapolis:
We are expanding!  We have two 30 bbls fermenters on their way and we already have two new 30 bbl tanks that we will use for lagering and as  bright tanks.   This will allow us to just about double our capacity to keep up with the demand..…especially the Pilsner and IPA’s.

From Roger at New Albanian Brewing Co. in New Albany:

From Clay at Sun King Brewing Co. in Indianapolis:
The Tasting Room remains closed and we are making great progress with all of our efforts. New tile has been laid in the front office/entry way, lots of things are getting fresh paint and we're tackling projects that we've wanted to get done for some time, but have been too busy to take the time for. Most importantly, the floor where our new tanks will go is prepped and ready to be coated over the weekend and the first of our new tanks arrive next week!
The Tasting Room will re-open on Thursday, July 19th.

Upland, Sun King, Triton, Bells, New Albanian, Peoples, Bier Brewery, Flat12, New Day Meadery, Fountain Square, and Bloominton Brewing Company were all extremely supportive and, most importantly, spot on on creating some of the midwest's most interesting and well executed beer.
Some new beer is in for this week, and it will be a first time for us to carry! Brooklyn Blast, Three Floyds Arctic Panzer Wolf, Stone IPA, Great Divide Wolfgang Dopplebock, Great Divide Rumble IPA, and North Coast's Pranqster are all making first time appearances over the week.
Plenty of good Indiana beer is rotating on all week and our bottle selection now consists of 28 bottles of great American and International micro brews.

Brew Haven 2012
Saturday, August 4 • 2pm-6pm • Downtown New Haven, Indiana

Brew Haven 2012 is going to be even bigger and better than last year's event! We're adding lots more space for a second tent full of breweries. We already have more than 30 breweries on board and that number is sure to steadily increase. Check out our BeerFinder for an updated list of the breweries (with beers to be added) and an evolving interactive map of the festival to make it easy to find the beers you want to sample. We are currently expecting 43 breweries to be pouring draft beer at the fest and that number only continues to increase! Watch as the number of beers grows and is sure to exceed 200. Then, there's the Homebrew...our talented local club will be pouring 50 of their tasty concoctions and have invited their contemporaries from around the region to add theirs. Make sure you're following Brew Haven on Facebook and Twitter to get the latest updates.

Upcoming Events
From Kyle at Kahn's Fine Wines in Indianapolis:
Indiana Beer Tasting : Friday, July 13th : 5-7p
This one is at Keystone and will obviously be focused on Indiana craft. Rita Kohn from NUVO will also be in attendance promoting her book on Indiana beer. And as some of you may have heard, I will be leaving the company. Next week will be my last full week, but this will be my last event here so it'd be great to see as many of you as possible.

Hoppy Birthday : Saturday, July 28th : 5-7p
This was our most highly attended beer event ever. It seems that people enjoy hops... Well, we're doing it again and this is open to any and all interestingly hopped beers or any style. We'll obviously rely heavily on pales and IPAs, but everything is welcome if it has any sort of unique hop-related attribute. Last year we tried to get as nerdy with it as possible by listing the hop varieties and educating people as much as we could.

From Brandon at Midwest Sports Complex:
We at Midwest Sports and Social Complex are putting together a craft beer fest scheduled for July 21st. We are selling tickets for $35 per person for unlimited sampling. Additionally there will be a professional beach volleyball tourney running adjacent to the beer fest.  Additional information will be available soon.

From Charles at Six Pack of Stories:
Thanks to the contributions of a lot of amazing beer enthusiasts, lovers of literature, and friends and family who want to see this project succeed, A Six Pack of Stories has raised over $2,000 of its $9,077 goal with 11 days left to go. That’s no small chunk of change, but if you can do basic arithmetic, you know there’s still a lot of ground to cover.
So here’s my shameless sales pitch: Read more about A Six Pack of Stories, and if you think this project will push the boundaries of craft beer and want to help combine art and beer in a whole new way, consider supporting the A Six Pack of Stories’ Kickstarter campaign (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1522045241/a-six-pack-of-stories).
Or if money is tight, just telling your friends about it can be a tremendous help. Check out our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/ASixPackOfStories and follow us on Twitter (@SixPackStories).
What is A Six Pack of Stories?
At present, A Six Pack of Stories is an embryo gestating in the (hopefully fertile) environment of my mind, but it will soon grow into a collection of short stories featuring beer as a major plot element or theme, and ultimately it will give us a glimpse at how beer affects our lives and relationships.
For more information, check out the Kickstarter page.
