Flat 12 releases labels

Thought these were pretty cool...

  1. They look great, but I'm a little worried that someone will take them to task for artwork aimed at appealing to minors. I hope not, but being around kids' books all day, I could see it. Anyway, glad they'll be bottling soon!

  2. Nice! I like the style being simply playful.

  3. The labels don't really fit the feeling I get from flat 12. The brewery has such a rustic feel, with clear crisp signage . I think it is unwise not to have the signature flat 12 logo on the label, mosty I find the labels to be unrecognizable.

  4. Goldendomer brings up a good point. Why build a brand with signage, logos, tap handles, etc., and not use it on the labels? I posted a link to this article on another beer site, and nobody liked the labels at all. I think they're OK, but I don't put much value on appearances.

  5. If I wasn't already familiar with their branding I would like the artwork, but as others have said these just don't fit their current branding. Current stuff brings racing to mind and this doesn't reflect that at all. The other problem is that there's a lot going on here and the main points (brewery and the style) gets lost in all the other unessential text.
