We'll be releasing our Oktoberfest this Saturday in conjunction with the Lafayette Oktoberfest held downtown on Main St. Look for LBC beers at the Oktoberfest Beer Garden at 9th & Main streets, as well.

On a packaging note: We received TTB approval for labels for 22 oz. bombers of Star City Lager, Star City Dark and Eighty-Five. Look for the Star City Lager and Eighty-Five to be available by mid-November from the brewery.

From Roger at New Albanian Brewing Co. in New Albany:
This week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, NABC's Bank Street Brewhouse in downtown New Albany will host our third annual Fringe Fest of Art, Music, Beer and Food, as the booth days of Harvest Homecoming provide counterpoint a block away.

http://potablecurmudgeon.blogspot.com/2010/10/official-2010-fringe-fest-schedule.html

Note that during these three days, as with most of downtown New Albany, it isn't business as usual at BSB. The customary parking area is used for music and beer drinking, and while the usual seating area and patio are open as usual, Chef Josh Lehman is not preparing the same menu as other times. Instead:

Duck Leg & Beans
Duck Fat Fringe Fries
Vegetarian Green Chile
... and a few nightly specials to mix it up a bit

The full lineup of NABC's locally brewed craft beers will be pouring at one time or another, with daily releases. If you'll be spending time in the fest area for music, you may wish to bring a camp chair of some sort.

Next week/weekend, during Lupulin Land, three new NABCs will debut:
