Random Beer Roundup - The OOH Spooky Edition

Heya. So how's everyone doing? Sorry I missed you last week. I had a funeral to attend. The good news was that even in small town Illinois, I was able to find Boulevard Wheat on tap and hang out with my brother and step-sister. I don't get to see them enough.

So Halloween is this weekend. Anybody dressing up? Doing something fun? Giving out good Halloween candy? I love the kids' expression in the neighborhood when they roll up and get a full size candy bar. And I can sit in my driveway and drink beer. How bad could that be?

Anyone going to check out the Pirates v. Ninjas bout over at Ellenberger Park? Stop by the ticket booth and say hi if you do!

If there is something coming up that is not listed, we would love to hear about it. News, reviews, info, etc., to share for our next Random Beer Roundup can be submitted to hoosierbeergeek@gmail.com.)

Distribution News

From Krystal at World Class Beverages:

Victory is doing a GREAT job with their marketing efforts, especially in their Youtube videos. Here is one I’d like to share from World Class Beverages, “(Re) Introducing Helios – a craft beer from Victory Brewing Company.” Victory - Helios

News around the Internets

The New York Times with a discussion of stout.

  1. ((wishing I was Indio having some Sierra Nevada "Foam" pilsner))

  2. I think the Mild is on tap now at RB. It's a lightweight and ideal session beer at 3.5% with subtle coffee and chocolate notes and a crisp finish.

Also I brewed it so you should order one just so you can complain to Mike on Twitter about how awful it is.
