HopCat Broadripple opening this Saturday

I'm sure just about everyone knows about the HopCat grand opening on Saturday.  I am excited for this to hit Indy as it is always a stop for me when I'm in Grand Rapids.  This Saturday they will have 130 taps of Indiana made beer on tap, and if you've never experienced crack fries yet be one of the first 200 in the door and you will get free crack fries for a year. They are that good! My understanding is that after the grand opening it will be more likely that around half of the 130 taps will be Indiana made beers and the other half will be from around the country and world.

I stopped by last week to see how it was coming along and chatted with some of the good people that are going to be running the show up there.  I anticipate big things from The HopCat, and I think it will be a very good thing for the beer community here in Indiana. A big thanks to the staff for letting me stop in and check it out.
