Tin Man Brewing in Evansville
We’ve got a new beer to announce. It’s now on tap in the tasting room:
Pink Peppercorn IPA: 7.3% ABV, 60 IBU
Pushing the perimeter of your palate, Pink Peppercorn India Pale Ale is a pleasant pause from plain pints. Heavy additions of Galena and Centennial hops throughout the brewing process, coupled with copious amounts of Pink Peppercorns, provide flavor notes of resin, pine, citrus peel, and the distinct citrus-like spice character that Pink Peppercorn is renowned for. Mildly sweet and rich in flavor and aroma, this spiced IPA pairs excellently with food or simply by itself.
Hope to see you all at Brew Ha Ha in Indy on June 21st!

For the first time ever, Upland Brewing Co will be releasing its first beer brewed with an edible flower. Our newest sour ale, Viola , gives our classic oak aged sour ale a new twist using fresh viola flowers.
With a focus on utilizing locally sourced ingredients, Upland has collaborated with our friends at
Oliver Winery in Bloomington, Indiana to create Vinosynth White and Vinosynth Red. These collaboration bottles are a unique combination of Upland Sours aged on Indiana grown grapes. Vinosynth Red is aged on Catawba grapes and Vinosynth White is aged on Vidal Blanc grapes from the Oliver Creekside Vineyards. We're excited to share this unique creation that celebrates the artisanship and love of local ingredients our two companies share.
In celebration of these new releases, Upland is excited to announce our next sour lottery! The lottery will begin at noon on June 24th and will remain open until noon on June 30th. This lottery includes Sour Reserve #5, Blackberry Lambic, Viola, Vinosynth White, andVinosynth Red . For additional details about this sour lottery, visit www.uplandsours.eventbrite.com.

From Josh:
New Arrivals from Against The Grain Brewery and Smokehouse in Louisville:
Kentucky Ryed Chiquen is back in draft and bottles. Described by the brewery "An amber ale brewed with rye malt and aged in rye whiskey barrels. Our first barrel aged beer here at Against the Grain is the Kentucky Ryed Chiquen. Named so because it was made in Kentucky, has a lot of Rye in it and was aged in rye barrels and it's not Chicken. As we all know (or should know) Chiquen refers to anything that is not chicken."
Next up is Bay And Pepper your Bretts, available in 750ml bottles and is a special release each year so get it while you can. They Describe this one as " This culinary delight is a rich farmhouse-style saison brewed with a generous helping of aromatic Turkish bay leaves and a dose of coarsely ground Tellicherry black peppercorns. The wild fermentation is finished off with cultured brettanomyces, which lend a noticeable sour note. As a collaboration between celebrated Louisville chef, Josh Lehman, and the brewers at Against the Grain, this beer highlights the interplay of cooking and brewing in a single glass. Complex, yet refreshing, this beer has a wild, perfumey aroma that prepares the palate for the tangy, yeasty flavor that mingles with spiciness from the spices as well as the phenols produced in fermentation."
