Trivia Night with Green Flash Brewing & Girls' Pint Out
Tuesday, August 20th
6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Sahm's Place
Trivia is every Tuesday night at Sahm's Place! Create a team and come play - or just come out earlier to try some Green Flash beer!
Trivia starts at 8:30 pm and ends about 10 pm. Teams are typically 4 people, but less than 4 is fine. There are 5 rounds each night. It is $10 per team to play, with half going to the season cash pot and the other half going to charity.
The season is 10 weeks long, and Sahm's pays out the top 10 teams with the cash collected over the season. Teams do not have to play each week, it just rewards teams for playing on a consistent basis. Prizes are awarded weekly.
All Green Flash Brewing Co. beers on tap will be $4!
Be smart. Drink good beer and play trivia with us!

HBG's July Pint Night, Special Edition | MacNiven's, This Thursday, 7/25, 6:30 p.m.

For our regular readers who may not have heard, our beloved Rodney and his wife Jess (who is a KOTBR emeritus) are moving to Macon, Georgia this weekend. We wanted to give them a proper send-off.

So please come out and join us for a special Pint Night at MacNiven's Restaurant & Bar this Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. as we bid Rod and Jess goodbye. We won't have a specific pint special with tasting notes as we normally do at Pint Night. But imperial (20 oz.) pints of Jess' favorite Three Floyds brew, Robert the Bruce Scottish Style Ale, will be on special for $4.50 a pint. Of course, MacNiven's always has a stellar draft list as well. Robert the Bruce also holds a special place in our hearts because it was the second beer we ever reviewed.

We will resume normal HBG Pint Night operations next month, when we will return to the Tomlinson Tap Room, and in September, when we hope to hold Pint Night at the soon-to-be-open Shoefly Public House in Herron-Morton Place.

Friday evening (7/11) we will be tapping  Naturally Blonde American Blonde Ale. This beer is light, easy drinking and refreshing in the heat of mid July. We will also be offering growler fills of Naturally Blonde while supplies last. We are asking that everyone bring their own growler in an effort to recycle, and there are none currently for sale in the pub.

This Saturday (7/12) we will have live music on the patio courtesy of the Brian Pitzer Duo. Brian has been a part of the local music scene for quite some time and has released 2 records. We are excited for his UBC debut! Music starts at 7 pm.
