For Super Bowl Week: 

The Flat12 Bierwerks taproom will be open special hours for tasting, pints and carryout as follows: 

Monday - Thursday 2-7
Friday-Saturday 12-8
Sunday 12-4

Friday, January 27th, we will tap a specialty brew that celebrates Indianapolis' big week. The beer, a sessionable Extra Pale Ale, features Super Galena hops and Bravo hops. It comes in at 46 IBU. The working name for this brew is Super Bravo 46. Or SB46, for short. 

Friday, February 3rd, we will tap Big Black Dog 68, an American Stout brewed with Rye Malt. Head Brewer, Rob Caputo, describes the 6.8% ABV Rye Stout as "chewy and big." A couple other surprises are probably in the offing on this date as well. 

Meats, cheeses, soups and other items from Smoking Goose will be featured on the food menu.

At our Grand Opening this Saturday we will tapping two new beers…..Count Nibula Chocolate Stout and Workingman’s Pilsner.  Stop by between 7pm and 11pm.

Aries American Wheat - light with a citrusy hop finish
ABV: 5.5% IBUs: 27 SRM: 3.4

Sticky Fingers Stout - roast, coffee, and caramel with a slight hop finish
ABV: 4.4% IBUs: 34 SRM:36

Batch 1100: Monk Juice - Belgian Tripel with citrus notes and a peppery finish
ABV: 9.5% IBUs 32 SRM: 4.6

We're busy gearing up for the big game here at Sun King... Next week we will be kicking off our 11 day Tent Party that we've dubbed: The Local Underground. This 4,000 square foot temperature controlled structure will play host to Chef JJ's enormous food trailer, The Big Green Bistro, our brand new draft trailer for pouring Fresh•Local•Beer and some of Indy and the surrounding area's best bands! We wanted to create a place for locals to enjoy some of the festivities surrounding the Super Bowl, as well as an experience where visitors can get a true taste of Indy. The Local Underground opens its doors on Thursday, January 26th at 5:00 and Rusty Redenbacher & Mr. Kinetik take the stage at 6:30 PLUS we'll be tapping several kegs of Sunlight Cream Ale that were aged for a year in William Henry Harrison Bourbon Barrels!

The Local Underground will be open from 11 a.m.. to 10 p.m. Friday, January 27th through Saturday, February 4th and we'll be serving up Brunch on Sunday January, 29th and February 5th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with special guest Java Mac. Chef JJ is putting together an incredible menu so make plans to join us for lunch, dinner, brunch or just stop by for a good time and some Fresh•Local•Beer...
