Tin Man Brewing in Evansville

Join us for our Summer Saison Sunday food and beer pairing! Delight your senses with a 3-course meal focusing primarily on meats, cheeses, and seasonal vegetables that have been sourced locally. The brewers have crafted three Saison styles of beer inspired by the farmhouse beers of the Belgian region of Wallonia: a low alcohol traditional version, a modern higher alcohol offering, and a peach fruit saison. The overall flavors to be found at this event will be fresh and refreshing, perfectly paired with the hot days of summer. Spend your afternoon imbibing great food and drink, enjoying great company, and a live performance from Evansville's own, Salt The Earth.

Tickets are now on sale for the Hops & Flip Flops Craft Beer Festival to be held on Friday, August 22nd. Information at http://hopsfest.eventbrite.com . Also, we have two great events on July 13th. We will be supporting the beer garden at the Speedway Cycling Grand Prix from noon to 4 pm. Racing starts at 8 am and the last race starts at 3:30 pm. That evening we are pairing some of our beers at the Chef's Night Out dinner at City Market. Tickets are still available for the 8:00 pmseating!
Construction update! Our final design plans for the new production brewery and tap room were submitted this week and we have approval meetings scheduled for the first week of August. If things stay on track we should be pulling permits and breaking ground in mid-August.
Looking to find our beers? We try to keep draft locations up to date on website and post frequently to our Twitter and Facebook pages on can and draft locations across the state. If you are having trouble finding Lift Off IPA on draft or cans it could just be because the place you are at ran out. Always feel free to drop us an email, post or tweet and we will try and help.

We donated a keg of Dorian Coffee Coconut to Tomlinson Tap Room for Barehands Head Brewer Money Raising Event. Throughout June/July - Limited number of Dorian Coffee Coconut kegs to hit market. Proceeds from sale go to Chris at Barehands, as well as, partnering restaurants donating majority of sale proceeds to Chris.

New Albanian in New Albany
July 11, 18, 25 & August 1, 8, 15, 22: The Bicentennial Park Summer Concert Series takes place in downtown New Albany at Bicentennial Park, on the corner of Spring and Pearl – less than two blocks from Bank Street Brewhouse. On Friday from May 30 through August 22 (except July 4) there’ll be free musical performances from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Production Simple books the music, and NABC coordinates the bar. We serve the craft beer (Houndmouth, Black & Blue Grass, Naughty Girl, Community Dark and occasional surprises); River City Winery handles the wine; and Irish Exit and JR’s Pub will alternate serving mass-market beer.

July 19th is the 19th annual Indiana Microbrewers Festival. Located at Opti Park in Broad Ripple with over 350 selection to choose from and a whole side of the park dedicated to Indiana Breweries. This festival is the largest of it's kind in Indiana and you definitely don't want to miss out on this one. New in stock and already making it's way around the state from Brouwerij de Molen comes a collab with Anchorage Brewing called Mud & Funk. This Brett Imperial Stout combines De Molen's mastery of dark beers and Anchorage's mastery of funk and wood, was aged in a mixture of Wine and Bourbon barrels. Blended back together, this dark, funky, and complex stout is sure to please. Available in 750ml bottles statewide now.
Also back in stock from our pals up in Chicago comes Local Option's Vokuhila. A traditional take on the classic German style Helles Bock, this strong golden larger clocks in at 6.5% and features a robust hop and malt profile. Much like it's namesake, its work in the front end and party on the backside. Available statewide in 500ml bottles and 1/6bbls!

2nd Annual Beer Cocktail Contest at Mass Ave Pub

We had so much fun last year that Mass. Avenue Pub and Indiana Girls' Pint Out are hosting the 2nd Annual Beer Cocktail Contest!
The rules are as follows:
1. The cocktail must contain at least one craft beer.
2. The cocktail must contain at least one liquor.
3. All ingredients must be easily accessible and legal to consume.

The contest culminates on Tuesday, July 15th at Mass Ave Pub. The top three recipes will be available to sample and purchase. Buy a full-sized version and you will receive a ticket to vote for the best cocktail!
