Double Nut Brown Ale, 8% ABV, 23 IBU
The deep toffee brown hue is a clear indicator of what to expect from this beer: robust malt, with more malt for good measure. The sweet aroma of caramel and biscuits is inviting and warm, with a flavor to match. Malt notes of caramel, tree nuts, and bread are paired with a mild hop bitterness. An elevated alcohol content adds a warming touch to this beer, making this Double Nut Brown a wonderful respite from the cold outside.

The Craft Brew Doodle Crew began as a desire to create with, hang out with & drink good beer with close artist friends. We had our first event on Jan 16th at Indiana City Brewing. Eight artists came together and we sat around a table: Amory Abbott, Peter Lockhart, Brian Presnell, Dan Thompson, Patrick Laurent, Eric Stine, Jeff Beaver & Myself.
Every ten minutes the timer went off and we rotated to the right. We did this 8 times so that each piece was touched by each artist and the piece you started on you finish on. Being the first event, it had it's hiccups, but the end result being everyone having a blast and really pushing ourselves. You had to either think fast and react to what's in front of you or don't think at all and just let it happen.

We brewed Red Collar Imperial Amber Ale with Indiana-grown hops in honor of hard-working Hoosiers who pursue their passions. Then, we traveled down to Kentucky to select the finest bourbon barrel for aging. The end result is Crimson Bombshell – a smooth amber ale with a hint of oak flavor and mellow bourbon aroma that plays well with the hops.
